This is Yellow Girl (named so because we were using descriptive names rather than real names to avoid bonding – it didn’t work). She lived behind the studio for a year or so. She had one litter there and we managed to get all the kittens adopted out. Before we could have her spayed, she disappeared for several months, only to show up pregnant again. This time, the studio owners put their collective foot down: take her to the shelter, or take her home.
She, along with three beautiful kittens (here’s one), now live in our home.

For further proof, look at the image here. But do not open that link unless you have a strong stomach; it’s a little chunky.
The resulting image is here (I think; it’s not mine). And don’t worry; that link is safe. Or you can click on my image and click the next button in the popup.
I’ve decided, after four years, to move my photoblog from Pixelpost over to WordPress. I have several reasons, including the faster update cycle, better spam and comment management (the old one, apparently, was assuming all comments were spam and was refusing to accept them), and the fact that I can post from my iPhone. The old photoblog can be found here.
I doubt I can easily convert the hundreds of posts, so I’m just going to start from scratch.
And what better subject than a kitten to start a photoblog? This is Jax.
